Banana Balls Recipes

Banana Balls

 

 


Yield: 10-12 banana balls

Ingredients:


1 teaspoon lemon juice plus 1 teaspoon
1/4 cup apple,minced
1/2 cup ripe banana,mashed
2 tablespoons almond butter or other natural nut butter
1/2-3/4 cup crushed corn flakes
1/2 cup oats finely ground
1/2 cup dates,chopped
3 tablespoons unsweetened shredded coconut
2 tablespoons stabilized ground flaxseed
2 tablespoon carob powder and or unsweetened shredded coconut.This is optional.

Preparations:


  • Toss apple with 1 teaspoon lemon juice in a bowl.Take another bowl and combine banana with the other 1 teaspoon lemon juice and mix them well.
  • Combine dates,banana, and almond butter,puree until mixtures starts to tun to liquid.Put all these in a food processor or blender.
  • Combine puree with the remaining ingredients-with the exception of the optional carob powder or shredded coconut.All in a mixing bowl and mix well.
  • Take a spoonfuls of mixture and form into golf-sized balls.Roll them gently between your palms.Rolls each of them in a carob powder or shredded coconut.Put them in the fridge until chilled and then sit back to enjoy.

Granola Snack Bar Recipes

Granola Snack Bars

 

 




Prep time: 30 minutes
Yield: 48 bars Serving size: 1 bar

Ingredients:


4 Oz. Butter
1 lb. Miniature Marshmallows
6 oz. rolled oats
8 oz. Crushed graham crackers
5.5 oz. stabilized ground flaxseed
5.5 oz. raisins,chopped
2 oz. raw sunflower seeds,shelled
2 oz. unsweetened fine coconut

Preparations:


  • Melt the butter over low heat in large sauce pan.
  • Add the marshmallows cook as you stir constantly until marshmallows are melted.when the mixture is melted,remove from heat.
  • Stir in oats,stabilized ground flaxseed graham crumbs,raisins,sunflower seeds, and coconuts till they are thoroughly coated.
  • Press into a greased 9 x 13 inch pan with greased  fingers. If you want a thicker bar, press into 9 x 9 inch pan.
  • Allow to cool.Then cut into 6 rows lengthwise and 4 crosswise.

French Toast Recipes

Ingredients:


1 cup soymilk
1/4 cup nutritional yeast flakes
2 tablespoons sugar
1/6 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon stabilized ground flaxseed
6 slices whole wheat bread or French bread


Preparations


  • Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl except the whole wheat bread.
  • Take the soymilk mixture and dip each slice of bread into it. Let the slice absorb each side,but take care that the bread do not sit in the liquid for too long.
  • Cook for 3 minutes on each side over medium heat in a lightly oiled skillet.
  • Then serve with maple syrup.

Whole Grain Flaxen Waffles



Ingredients


1 1/2 cups whole wheat pastry flour

2 teaspoon baking powder
2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2/4 teaspoon cinnamon
 Dash nutmeg-this is optional
1/2 cup stabilized ground flaxseed
1 1/2 cups soy milk
1 1/2 tablespoon
1 1/2 teaspoon pure maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla-optional

Preparation


  • Take the dry ingredients and stir the liquid ingredients into them until mixed batter is thick and lumpy.If it get to thick to stir, or thicken while standing, add extra soy milk by the tablespoon.
  • Pour this to the waffle iron and cook according to the manufacturer's instruction.
  • Then serve immediately or keep warn in a oven set to 200 degree Fahrenheit while cooking the remaining waffles.

Oat Nut Pancake Recipes

Oat Nut Pancake



 Ingredients


1 cup all purpose unbleached flour
1/4 cup whole wheat pastry flour
1/4 cup quick cooking oats or oats flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 cup toasted walnuts or pecans finely chopped
1/3 cup stabilized ground flaxseed
1 1/2 cup soy milk
1 tablespoon canola oil
1 tablespoon pure maple syrup or sugar


Preparation


  • Sift the ingredients except walnut and oats.Put in a large bowl and then you add walnuts and oats.Then stir.Make a space in the dried ingredients and then add the wet ingredients.Stir well to combine.
  • Heat a griddle to a medium-high heat and lightly oil it.Use a 1/4 cup butter for each of the pancake.Cook this on the heated griddle until bubble appears right on the top,this would take about one to one and half minutes.Flip the pancakes and cook the other side until golden brown,do this for about 1 minute.
  • You can serve immediately to keep warm in an oven set in a lowest heat.

Tip

Toast 1/2 cup of walnuts or pecans.Finely chop 1/4 cup,and use the remaining in warm syrup.

Ingredients


1 1/3 cups quick cooking oats

4 cups water

1/4 cup currants or other chopped dried fruit

1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

1/2 cup stabilized ground flaxseed


Preparations


  • Boil water over a high heat in a medium saucepan.Put the oats,cinnamon and stir.
  • Reduce the heat,cover and allow to simmer for 2-4 minutes as you stir occasionally.
  • Stir in the stabilized ground flaxseed.

Twiced Baked Potatoes Recipes-Gluten Free

Twice-Baked Potatoes


Ingredients


4 Medium Russet potatoes-7-9 ounces
Vegetables oil to rub on potatoes skins
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup sour cream
4 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 teaspoon salt
Pinch ground black pepper

Preparation


  • Preheat oven to 400 degree Fahrenheit
  • Rub oil to the potato skins to make it crispy
  • Bake the potatoes for 1 hour until it is done.
  • Be careful to remove potatoes form the oven and allow to cool for 10 minutes.
  • Cut the potatoes in half lengthwise and scoop out pulp with a small spoon.
  • Mash the potato pulp with fork until it is smooth
  • Add the remaining ingredients until it combines well.
  • Use spoon to scoop the mixture into empty potato shells.
  • Set the oven heat higher to broil
  • Broil potatoes for 10-15 minutes until spotty brown and crisp.
